Sarah Faulder is Chief Executive and Director, Publishers Licensing Society. She has extensive experience of copyright and of music business, publishing industry and related regulatory issues at both a local and international level.
Sarah was a partner for ten years at city law firm, Taylor Joynson Garrett (now Taylor Wessing). She both negotiated a broad range of media related agreements and litigated infringement and royalty audit claims, contractual and other disputes. She then worked in the music industry for over 13 years, first as Chief Executive of the Music Publishers Association before becoming Chargée de Mission at BIEM and CISAC, the Paris based international umbrella organisations for collecting societies, and latterly Public Affairs Director for PRS for Music. She played a significant international role during a period of online business transition, which included regulatory lobbying in Brussels and Whitehall as well as a spell in Paris representing worldwide copyright royalty collecting societies.
Sarah is an SPCP accredited mediator and a member of the Civil Mediation Council.
